growing up

Prompt: A reflection of my current creative practice and purpose, and how that introduces me to the design and creative community.

Project Scope: Bifold zine that opens into a poster, and a card insert

My Take: From a young age, creativity has been central to who I am—whether through imaginative play or painting. As an only child, I learned to be independent early on, yet I’ve always thrived on connection and collaboration. I’m most inspired when working with others—sharing ideas, building on diverse perspectives, and co-creating meaningful work.

My passion lies in human-centered design—an approach rooted in empathy, problem-solving, and user insight. It’s about truly understanding people’s needs and designing solutions that improve their experiences. This mindset has been shaped by the support of mentors, friends, and family who guided me toward purposeful, user-first design.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to work with emerging brands and small businesses—helping them shape authentic visual and marketing narratives that resonate with their audience and boost growth. Through service design, I aim to deeply understand both the client and their consumer using tools like journey maps, personas, brand analysis, and ongoing feedback. The goal is always the same: to create thoughtful, effective, and human-centered solutions.

I believe great design starts with understanding—why a business exists, what it stands for, and who it serves. That’s the foundation of any successful strategy. I chose to message this as “Growing Up: And Doing it Together” because everyone is on their journey of life, and for brief moments, we are able to connect and make something great. We are all growing into our best selves and creating for others in the process. I am honored to be a small part of my clients’ journeys, and to see how they flourish.
